Jesus : Alive or Dead? – An exposition from Al-Qur’an

Quran
“And peace on me on the day I was born, and on the day I die, and on the day that I shall be raised up to life (again). Such is Jesus, the son of Mary; (this is) the saying of truth about which they dispute.” (Quran 19:33-34)
Before coming to the subject under discussion there is an important principle which needs to be discussed.
HOW DOES THE QUR’AN EXPLAIN ITS SUBJECTS ?
The Qur'an is not like an ordinary book whose chapters are bifurcated according to subject at one place, rather the Quran has its topics scattered within its Sura's (Chapters) at many places. So if one needs to understand a topic then he has to look into all the locations within the Qur'an where that subject occurs and compile all the verses related to it. If we do this excersize, then we observe that all the verses about one particular subject explain and clarify each other. And once we organize those verses according to subject, we see what it really is that the Qur'an is saying about that topic. This manner of Qur'anic study is not my own invention but already presented in the Qur'an. The following verses identify this aspect:
“And thus do We REPEAT the Ayat <nussariful ayat> and that they may say: You have read; and that We may make it clear to a people who know.” (6:105)
“And certainly We have REPEATED <sarrafna> for men in this Quran every kind of similitude, but most men do not consent to aught but denying.” (17:89)

DOES THE HOLY QU'RAN SAY JESUS A.S. HAS DIED?

Numerous non-Ahmadi Muslim scholars correctly translate the Quranic verses 5.116-118 as follows: "Jesus son of Mary will answer...'I was a witness over them so long as I remained among them; and when Thou didst cause me to die, You were Yourself the Watcher over them.' " In light of these verses, do any of you still insist Jesus a.s. is still alive and/or that he will one day return to Earth and if so how is this possible?

Non Ahmadi Muslim Brother's Response:
'problem here is that you translate tawafee as death in reality there are number of places even in ahmedi translation where it is translated as take away (completely) see quran 39;42 and 6;60 where your own translators translated tawafee as take instead of death.'

Jesus God or Beloved of God?

A most extraordinary and unparalleled change occurred in the 7th century of the Christian era. Arabia was an arid and isolated peninsula unaffected by events in the rest of the world. Its population consisted of barbarous tribes mostly nomads, who loved the freedom of the deserts, the starlit sky above, the sandy floor below; despised by others, and dead morally and spiritually. But as Thomas Carlisle says:
“To the Arab nation Islam was a birth from darkness into the light.”
Arabia first became alive by means of it. A poor shepherd people roaming unnoticed in its deserts since the creation of the world; a Prophet was sent down to them with a word they could believe; see the unnoticed becomes world notable, the small has grown
